EDITORIAL DESIGN

I wanted to break away from traditional editorial conventions and investigate how print could communicate through rhythm, interference, and fragmentation—both visually and conceptually.

Working with layered transparencies, moiré effects, and distorted halftone textures, I explored non-linear storytelling. The layouts used asymmetry, disrupted grid systems, and heavy contrast to challenge the reader’s path through the material—turning reading into a sensory experience. Transparent paper and layering techniques created a dialogue between foreground and background.

The result is a set of avant-garde publications that invite interpretation rather than instruction. They showcase how print can feel alive—tactile, layered, and unpredictable—and reinforce the value of analogue
processes in an increasingly screen-dominated culture.
