RAW REVOLT
THE CHALLENGE
Raw Revolt needed a brand identity that embodied its mission: to spotlight underrepresented creative talent and challenge industry norms with unapologetic authenticity. The design had to be raw, rebellious, and deeply human.

THE APPROACH
I started with fingerprints—literal marks of individuality—layered through acetate, mono-print, and halftone experiments. Drawing on protest aesthetics, I introduced fluorescent colour schemes, stencil type, and finger-print-inspired patterns. Integrating imagery of Marilyn Monroe subverted by noise textures added complexity to the theme of visible strength and cultural disruption.

THE OUTCOME
I applied the identity across digital and
print, using expanded
fingerprint lines, bold typography, and neon
highlights. Imagery featured diverse individuals and
raw textures, creating
a visually striking, inclusive
brand presence.
The final identity is a visual protest—vivid, unpolished, and proudly imperfect. It offers a tactile counter-narrative to hyper-polished commercial branding, celebrating individuality through materiality and mess.
